She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Mercer and Effie Mercer Granter; and her sister Carol Mercer. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Ken; her children, Heather Ryan (Sean), David Penney and Jonathan Penney (Patricia); her grandchildren, Caleb, Aidan, Darcy, Abigail, Leander, Jack and Hazel; her siblings, Jean Mercer (late Stan Briggs) and Thom Mercer (Lynn); and her siblings-in-law, Penney Pollard (Doug), Carol Hann (late Foster) and Jim Penney (Loretta). She is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
