He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Molloy and Martha Molloy; and his siblings, Regina McDonald (Frank), Agnes Hanlon (Peter), Christine, Leo (Nora) and Francis (Agnes).

He is survived by : his wife Margaret; his children, Sharon Welcher (Ches) and Paul (Cecilia); his grandchildren, Lucas and Jessica Welcher; and his sisters, Emma Linehan (Tom Deceased) and Marie Atwell (Don).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Donations in Richard's name can be made to NL Cancer Society or The Gathering Place.
