He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Yabsley and Doris Yabsley; his brother Reginald; and his parents-in-law, Chesley and Marjorie Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Yabsley; his children, Jillian (Chris Young), Peter (Jennifer Smyth) and Paige (Greg London); his grandchildren, Nathan, Jane Young, Emma, Benjamin Yabsley, Sydney (Michael McWhirter), Kate and Anna London; his great grandchild Grace McWhirter; his sister-in-law Shirley Yabsley; his nieces and nephews, Susan, Bart (Nancy), Andrew and Jennifer Drogell (Johan); his great-nieces, Meghan (Matt) and Erin Yabsley; his great-nephew Jonas Drogell; and his friends, Don and Dorothy Warr.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to the Health Care Foundation's Cardiac Care Fund.
