He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Grandy. He is survived by: his wife Mel Grandy; his grandparents, Eleanor and Philip Stapleton; his parents-in-law, Karen Johnson and Melvin Kearsey; his brother-in-law Ben Kearsey; and his close friends, Brad, Steve, Paul and Michael.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation in Robbie's name.
