Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Cecil Cole (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 90, on April 24, 2024. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Christian, Hilary, Megan and Robbie; his parents, Florence Cole (Voisey) and John Cole; his siblings, Cecil, Kitchener, Edgar Wiseman, Helen Noseworthy, Olive Andrews, Lulu Ringman and Elinor Curran; his former life partner Karen; his friends, Pat Gallivan, Noboru "Ishi" Ishiwata and Bill Ryan; his close friend Julie Dobbin; and also, Fred, Matt and Jennine.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas Anglican Church (8 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2C4).
