Robert Earles Obituary

We announce the death of Robert Earles (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 94. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris; his parents, Joseph Earles and Gladys Earles; his brother Clarence; his brother-in-law Harvey Spurrell; his niece Lisa Burry; his stepson Patrick Pearcey; and his parents-in-law, Martin Bugden and Margaret Bugden.

He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, Don (Yvonne) and Diane (Ron Browne); his sister Margaret Spurrell; his siblings-in-law, Sarah Earles, Claude Bugden and Gerald Bugden (Vivian); his grandchildren, Andrea (Andrew Reid) and Andrew Browne (Melissa); his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Wilkins (Jacob), Ryan Wilkins (Inga) and Steven Pearcey; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Abigail Browne, Lucas and Wyatt Reid; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kane, Amelia, Gena, Gennie and Craig Bugden.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (53 James Lane).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
