With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert John Murray (St John's, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his daughter Renee; his parents, Henry Murray and Edith Murray; his parents-in-law, Violet and Leo Hall; his stepfather-in-law Thomas Murphy; his siblings, Tony, Maude (Pat) and Laura; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Hall (Jean), Dorothy Lavallee (Ray), Bob Hall (Dorothy) and Ted Hall.
He is survived by: his sons, Rob (Joy), Rick and Todd; his grandchildren, Heidi (Cress), Zachary, Nicholas (Daniella), Shawn, Tyler (Sophie), Haylee and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Willow and Brennan; his sister Colleen (Dan); and his in-laws, Hubert and Marie Hall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
