She is survived by: her husband Lawrence; her son Travis; her sisters, Doris Cumby (Larry), Diane Hidgon (Walt), Beverley Bishop (Donny) and Wendy Carew (Wally); her siblings-in-law, Carmelita Courtney (Dan), Alicia Meaney, Randell Crane, Gerald Fougere and Gary Meaney; her aunt Nellie Reid; and her close friends, Judy March and Christina Darby.
A rosary was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carnell's Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
