He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald and Irene; and his brothers, Alex Driscoll and Kenneth Cox. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his daughters, Debbie Parrell (Mike), Jackie Murphy (Mike) and Rhonda Williams (Andy); his grandchildren, Amanda Murphy, Melissa Best, Vanessa Williams, Ronnie Murphy, Michael Parrell and Andrew Williams; his siblings, Gerald, Paul, Newman and Madonna; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Murphy and Patrick O'Neill; and his close friends, Gerald and Rita Downey. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to the Alzheimer Society.
