Rosemary Leaman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025, at the age of 74, Rosemary Leaman (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Vey and Lloyd Vey; her parents-in-law, Sarah and Herman Leaman; her sisters, Jeanette Saunders, Shirley Wall, Joan Tucker and Louise Parrell; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Vey, Sybil Toth, Millie Leaman, Roy Saunders, Bill Wall, Gerry Parrell and Steve Toth.
She is survived by: her husband George Leaman; her daughters, Stephanie (Steve Hounsell) and Kelly Cook (Paul); her grandchildren, Grayson, Kai, Lexi, Courtney, Clayton and Riley; her siblings, Eli Vey and Judy Sullivan (Terry); and her siblings-in-law, Reg Tucker, Jim Leaman and Mabel Leaman (Bobby). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 24th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
