He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Ada Victoria; and his siblings, Lois Juanita and Alfred Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his siblings, Graham Burden (Velma), Ted Burden (Ada), Joy Burden, Pearl Reardon (Frank) and Mabel Elms (Wayne).
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at 565 Kenmount Rd, St. John's, NL A1B3P9. A burial will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at the Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
