He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas and Florence Thomas; and his brother Greg (Della). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughters, Hilary (Kyle) and Laura; his sisters, Lorraine Fowlow (Dave) and Cynthia Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Carol Squibb (Gord), Beverley Dawson, Lillian Oliver (Paul), Howard Soper, Charlie Soper (Joan) and Bruce Soper (Judy); and his close friends, Bob and Joanne Kane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Russ' memory may be made to the Mount Pearl Minor Hockey Association.
