We are sad to announce that, on June 13, 2023, at the age of 97, Ruth Knight (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Barnes and Ada Barnes of St. John's; her husband Frederick W. Knight of St. John's; and her daughter Karen Knight Nash Gower. She is survived by: her sister Ada Elizabeth Green (Betty) of Annapolis Royal; her children, June Somerton (Gordon) and F. Warren Knight of St. John's; her grandchildren, David Somerton (Joanne), Sherril Inglis and Keely Nash of Nova Scotia; her great grandchildren, Evan, Lauren Somerton, Victoria, Elizabeth and Ethan Inglis; her close friend Norma Boone; and her wonderful neighbors, Kevin and Bride Pynn. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
