She was predeceased by : her former life partner Maxwell; her parents, Raymond Oake and Mildred Oake (Willis); her siblings, Bill, Harvey, Ida (late Bob Wells), Mabel (late Fred Woodward) and Teddy (Sidney); and her friend Bernice Kennedy.

She is survived by : her sons, Edwin (Mary Ryan), Robert (Elizabeth Wells) and Gary (Wanda Pickett); her grandson Adam (Cheryl Sturge); her great grandchildren, Parker and Colton; her granddaughter Andrea (David Nixon); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley and Stephen (Leona Wickham); her sister-in-law Sylvia (late Rufus Garza); her husband Max; her close friend Ed Kennedy; and also, Jacob, Aaron, Melissa (Jonathan Murphy), Jayda, Caleb and Dr. Nicole Brown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sadie's memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
