He was predeceased by: his father Neil Pardy; his grandparents, Ralph, Ena Sweetapple, George and Mamie Pardy; his parents-in-law, Jack and Anne White; and his brother-in-law Gordon White.

He is survived by: his significant other Patricia; his son Andrew; his mother Doris Pardy; his brothers, Brian (Judy) and Blair (Lori); his siblings-in-law, Jerome (Lenora), Ron (Lisa), Junior, Tina Power, Phyllis Brenton (Danny), Shirley Walsh (Ed), Florence Hynes (Gordon), Helen Walsh (Gerry) and Ruby Kean (Tom); his friends, Phil, Dan, Randy, Rick and Jeff; and his close friend Peter Martin (Lisa Mahaney). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sean's memory to The Canadian Blood Services or Cancer Care Newfoundland, Health Science Centre.

“Patricia, Andrew and Doris, and the whole extended family, I am saddened to hear of Sean's passing. It's a huge loss and way too soon. My heart goes out to you as you deal with the difficulties of your loss now and over the days and weeks ahead. I am gutted by his all-too-soon passing and for the loss you are feeling. At the same time, I am reflecting back on Sean and find myself buoyed by our times back in GFW and at Acadia University, for the work we did together and the fun times we had.”
