Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Pitcher (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 85, on November 17, 2023. She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Pitcher; her parents, Ariel Fagner and Annie Fagner; and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Porter, Albert, Edgar, Cecil Pitcher and Jean Pitcher.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya Pitcher, Janice Worthman (Glenn) and Steven Pitcher (Connie); her grandchildren, Sydney Roberts (Andrew) and Marcus Worthman; her sisters-in-law, Clara Porter, Eleanor Pitcher and Annie Pitcher; her aunt Irene Bursey; and her close friends, Charlie and Alice Pittman. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
If you wish to honour her memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the St. John's SPCA or the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation.
