With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Marie Trickett (St John's, Newfoundland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband William; her parents, Ewart Littlejohn and Caroline Littlejohn; and her siblings, Val (Viola), Max (Becky) and Lorraine King (George).
She is survived by: her sons, Eugene (Eva) and David (Karen); her grandchildren, Erica Curtis (Dylan), Stephen (Cheryl), Heidi, James and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Nina and Evelyn; and her sister-in-law Ruth Hiscock (Boyd).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 18th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the 18th Anglican Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
