We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2021, at the age of 92, Susanna Pretty (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Norman Pretty; her parents, William Badcock and Glennie Badcock; and her siblings, John, Norman Babcock, Fanny Jane Badcock, Bessie Payne and Jane Mercer.

She is survived by : her children, Bertha (Wilbert) and Derek; her brother Don Badcock; her siblings-in-law, Jean Babcock and Clyde Pretty (Sylvia); her grandchildren, Jeff (Maria), Jason (Heather) and Jennifer (William); her great grandchildren, Noah, Sophia, Nathaniel, Daniel, Evangeline, Benjamin and Eloise; her niece Brenda Luscombe; and her cousins, Paulette Stowe, Joy Stuckless and Lydia Penney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Happy Tree or a charity of one's choice.

“Sue, as we called her, at the S.A. Training College was "one of a kind". In all my life I never saw anyone work any harder and still wear an honest smile. And she was always ready for a good laugh. Her deep spiritual experience gave her the strength to face some of life's worse battles and come out the victor.
