He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline Beer; his parents, William Chaplin and Lucy Chaplin; and his siblings, William (Patricia), Rita Harnett (Joseph), Annette Saunders (late Robert) and Joan Marie Dunn (late Gary).
He is survived by: his son Terry Chaplin; his daughter-in-law Nadine Breau; and his granddaughter Ève Chaplin of Halifax. He is also survived by many extended family members, and dear friends.
