She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Slaney and Theresa Slaney (Trixie); her parents-in-law, Maxwell and Rowena Pelley; her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Pelley, John Pelley and Jim Roberts; and her nephew Anthony Pelley.
She is survived by: her husband Lorne Pelley; her daughter Natasha Pelley; her son-in-law Cody Loewen; her grandchildren, Rylan and Leo; her treasured fur-grandkids, Itchy, Rusty, Bailey and Jet; her pet Vanilla; her siblings, Betty Waterman (Leo) of Wareham, Una Parsons (Bob) of Centreville and William Slaney of Centreville; and her siblings-in-law, Harrison Pelley of Dover, Verley Roberts, Doreen Glover (Rodney) and Lorraine Pelley (Wilf Hunt).
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the 15th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted but donations may be made in her memory to From Feral to Family (Central Paws), Dover, a charity run by her niece that was near and dear to her heart.
