She was predeceased by: her husband William Cheeseman; her parents-in-law, Urban and Mary Cheeseman; her brothers-in-law, Robert P. Johnston and Brian Sceviour; and her parents, Erika Taylor and Eric Taylor of Paradise.
She is survived by: her children, Courtney Cheeseman of Mount Pearl and Matthew Cheeseman; her grandchildren, Kyler and Maze of Thompson, Manitoba; her sisters, Gloria Johnston (John Hall) of Southport and Heather Taylor (Wesley Earle) of Bay Roberts; her siblings-in-law, Don Cheesman Rushoon (Marie), Rita Finlay Grand Falls (George), Nora Dodge Rushoon (Reg), Shirley Sceviour Lewisporte (late Brian) and Mary Bunjes Rushoon; and her students Emma. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
