Verna Skanes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Skanes (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Lumsden, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 15, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Robbins and Edna Robbins (Taylor) of Change Islands, NL.; her husband Graham Skanes; her family Graham; her sons, Jonathan and Peter (Lauren); her grandchildren, Joshua (Jessica) and Molly; and her brothers, Ted Robbins (Jean) of St. Catherine's, ON, Doug (Cindy) of Forteau, NL. and Richard (Gloria).
