With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Haynes (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Walter Haynes; his grandson Richard Muley; his son-in-law Eric Kroll; his parents-in-law, James and Eleanor Duvall; and his siblings-in-law, Donnie, Craig and April.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Haynes; his children, Shel, Tina (Brian) and Donnie (Sharon); his grandchildren, Ashley Lynne (Cory), Madyson (Josh), Kaitlyn (Zaid), Kyle (Chelsea), Sara (Sean), Tyler (Olivia), Kayla, Gabriel and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Adelle, Emily and Charlie; his sisters-in-law, Wendy and Trudy; and his friends, Steve (Shafty), Wendy and Mary (Patti Anne).
