William Chafe Obituary

William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Chafe and Hazel Chafe (Whitten); his siblings, Cecil Chafe and June Earle (Chafe); and his son Howard Chafe.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Pynn); his sons, Greg (Denise), Robert (Chris) and Jason (Julie); his stepson Lance Pynn (Winnie); his grandchildren, Andrea O'Gorman (Joe), Nicholas Chafe (Dragon), Connor Chafe and Samantha Chafe; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Grady O'Gorman and Karma Kobvack.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the 29th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A burial will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Anglican Cemetery (23-1 Empire Ave, St. John's, NL A1C3E4).
