William David Hapgood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William David Hapgood (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Hapgood (Dot); his daughter Joanne Hapgood; his granddaughter Bethany Pike; and his siblings, Shirley Hapgood and Francis Hapgood.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Pike (Stephen), Cathy Grenning (Luke), David Hapgood (Judy Hodder) and Carolyn Hapgood (Glenn Wadden); his granddaughters, Stephanie Grenning (Justin Long), Rebecca Pike (Kyle Winter), Janna Grenning-King (Curtis King) and Jillian Grenning (Glenn Byrne); his stepgrandchildren, Stephen Hodder (Chelsea) and Stephanie Hodder (Eamon O'Leary-Ellis); his great grandchildren, Aria, Jackson, Kayden and Lucas; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Charlotte and Madelyn; his sisters, Sandra Vey (Eli) and Phyllis Fleming (Don); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Stratton (Bev) and Len Ralph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
