He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hayter and Mary Hayter; his brothers, Wilson and Dennis Hayter; his parents-in-law, Baxter and Doris Rogers; and his sisters-in-law, Rose and Winnie.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Jessie Elizabeth "Betty"; his children, Derek (Theresa) and Diane; his grandchildren, Robert (Crystal), Megan, Cory (Sheena) and Andrea (Larry); his great grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah), Jaylynn, Jessica, Quinn, Leah, Ryland and Neveah; his great great grandchild Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Nina, Margaret, Doris, Gloria, Chuck, Basil and Gordon.
