He was predeceased by: his son William Mercer (Billy); his sister Kathleen Clements (Kay); his siblings-in-law, Rose Foote, Linda Furey, Glennis O'Flaherty, Fred Clements and Richard Christopher (Dick); and his nephew Scott Clements.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Mercer; his sons, David and Stephen (Gena); and his granddaughter Sky Lynn.
At the request of the family donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
