William Michael Shallow Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of William Michael Shallow (St John's, Newfoundland) is shared. William, born on May 15, 1936, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Shallow and William Shallow; his niece Katie Shallow; his cousin Anne Mackey (Way); and his siblings-in-law, Bridget Mackey, Martina Knox, Phyllis Mackey, Leonard Mackey, Bill Mackey, Bill Knox and Bill Colbert.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Mackey; his children, Gabrielle Martin (Chris) and Mark Shallow (Carla Myrick); his grandchildren, Seth, Gwyn, Rhea and Grayson; his brother Tony Shallow (Gaye Walsh); his nephews, Colin (Marie), Dan (Haley) and Scott (Brieanna); his in-laws, Frank Mackey, Anita Colbert, Lou Mackey (Judy), Mike Mackey, Ed Mackey, Dennis Mackey (Maura) and Carmel Conway (Bill); his sister-in-law Marie Mackey; and his friends, Ray and Marie Hawco.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
