He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Ryall (Betty). He is survived by: his children, Janice and James (Janis); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Mikaela and Jennifer.

He worked at the food bank for over 2 decades, volunteered at church charity events, dedicated his time to many volunteer organizations including Rotary and Masons.
