It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Cormier (Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his son Sheldon; his parents, Edward Cormier and Yvonne Cormier; his sister Genenieve; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Kendall, Cory Payne, Cindy and Lenore Legge.

He is survived by: his children, Shawn (Nicki) and Trina (Mark); his grandchildren, Luke, Alexis, Liam, Isaiah and Morgan; his siblings, Raymond (Robin), Marcel (Eileen), Danny (Sharon), Ricky (Jackie), Annette (Jimmy), Joslyn Legge (Richard), Christine Payne (Ted), Jackie Bennett (Junior) and Audrey Bennett (Wade); his close friend Katie Jesso; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Kendall and Genevieve (Wayne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
