It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith McCarthy (Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Eli Young and Mary Josephine Young (Madore); her husband Thomas Patrick McCarthy; and her sons, Jerry McCarthy and Terry McCarthy.

She is survived by : her son Thomas McCarthy.
