He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim and Dora; his siblings, Raymond, Patrick, Kevin, Marie, Claudia, Francie and Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Reginald, John, Ray and Kay (Joe Radulak).

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his daughter Claudia (Rhyder); his grandson Calvin; his niece Leslie; his siblings, Dan, Basil (Joan), Tommy (Dulcie), Johnny (Tina), Brian (Marie) and Marty (Tori); and his friend Sammy Barter. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (37 West St, Stephenville Crossing, NL A0N2C0). A burial was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
