It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron Gallant (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arsene Victor (A. V.) and Sarah; his former wife Helen; his children, Joseph and Sarah; and his siblings, Thomas, Connie Brake, Claudia Cavendish, Eva Eaton and Laverna Baker.
He is survived by: his children, A. J. of Lexington, NC, Abe (Judy), Paul (Faith), Tom (Mary), Bill, David, Susan (John Butler) and Kevin (Sandy); his grandchildren, Roger, Stuart (Anna O'Quinn), Tina (Beth Newton), James (Colleen), Mark (Monica) of Halifax, N. S., Michael (Emily Thomas) of Halifax, N. S., Carling Pike, Emma, William Butler, Sarah, Megan and Katie Gallant; his great grandchildren, Connor, Henry Newton, Anna, Grace, Jane and Oliver Gallant; his sister Edna Gallant of Albuquerque, NM; his siblings-in-law, Eva McCarthy (Kevin) and Joe Hayes of Corner Brook; and his caregiver Debbie Benoit.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation in Aaron's memory can be made to the Southwest Coast SPCA or the Stephenville Community Food Bank.
