Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anastasia Hynes (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 88, on July 12, 2025. Though Anastasia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anastasia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Angus Hynes; her son Clyde; and her granddaughter Sarah. She is survived by: her children, David Hynes (Nancy), Raymond Hynes, Stephen Hynes and Joan Adams (Darren). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Anastasia's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
