She is survived by: her husband Aaron; her children, A. J. of Lexington, NC, Abe (Judy), Paul (Faith), Tom (Mary), Bill, David, Susan (John Butler) and Kevin (Sandy); her grandchildren, Roger, Stuart, Tina (Beth Newton), James (Colleen), Mark (Monica) of Halifax, N. S., Michael (Emily Thomas) of Halifax, N. S., Carling Pike, Emma, William Butler, Sarah, Megan and Katie; her great grandchildren, Connor, Henry Newton, Anna, Grace and Jane; her siblings, Eva McCarthy (Kevin) and Joe Hayes of Corner Brook; and her sister-in-law Edna Gallant of Albuquerque, NM..
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19 restrictions a funeral service to celebrate Bernice's life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice's memory can be made to the Stephenville Community Food Bank or to a charity of one's choice.
