With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derrick Allan Rideout (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his children, Dylan and Monique; his parents, Bennett Rideout and Joan Rideout; his sister Golda Watts (Enos); and his parents-in-law, Kathleen and Thomas McIntosh.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his son Darrell (Denise); his grandchildren, Taylor and Corbin; his siblings, Christine Simms (Lloyd), Lisa Annette Rideout, Ivan, Brian, Barry (Liz) and Craig; his brothers-in-law, Richard McIntosh (Vivian) and Michael McIntosh (Sandra); Candace Henri (Robert).

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions the family will be having a private service at Russell's Funeral Home on June 10, 2020 at 2 pm with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.

Flowers graciously accepted or donations to the ALS Society in his memory.
