He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley LaCosta and Marion LaCosta; and his siblings, Patsy Goulding, Stella Duffenais, Ivan LaCosta, Morris LaCosta, Terry LaCosta and Stanley LaCosta.

He is survived by: his wife Candace Payne; his children, Glen LaCosta (Kyla), Amanda Parsons (Ken), Christina LaCosta (Sasha) and Jennifer Rideout (Cory); his grandchildren, Morgan, Samuel and Samantha; and his siblings, Clyde LaCosta, Isabelle Doucette (Joey) and Mazie Benoit (Jude). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
