She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Katelyn (Jordan), Sarah (Leroy), Marissa (Randy) and Leah; her significant other Eric; her parents, Charles Simms and Evelyn Simms; her siblings, Clar, Millie, Madeline, Charlie and Everett; her in-laws, Edward, Walter and Shirley; and her nephews, Shannon, Melvin, Rodney and Walt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Barker (Roger) of Kippens, Charlene Alexander (Tim) of Kippens and Angel May (Justin) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; her siblings, Mary, Maude (Lloyd), Ivy (Russell), Earl (Christina) and Dianne (Hughie); and her siblings-in-law, Larry, Alex, Phil (Rosemary), Jack, Gladys, Virtue, Marie and Sadie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Russells Funeral Home (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Anglican Church (55 Hillview Ave, Stephenville, NL A2N1T3).
