He is survived by: his wife Margaret Strickland; his stepchildren, Quentin (Kimberly) of Calgary, Robert of St. Johns and Kimberly of Fort McMurray; his grandson Carter; his mother Vera Strickland; his mother-in-law Bridgette Smith; his siblings, Joseph (Helen), Nick (Shauna), Helen (Lorne) and Leisa (Brian); and his siblings-in-law, Henry Smith (Brenda), John Smith (Deanna), Paul Smith (Claudine), Steve Smith (Darlene), Edward Smith (Lana), Bernard Smith (Trina), Mary Maher (Bruce) and Anastasia Merkley (Chris).
