He is survived by: his wife Sharon Melbourne; his son Brian Patey (Rhonda); his grandsons, Zachary (Lily) and Matthew (Natalie); his daughter Beverley Bursey (David); his grandchildren, Adam (Chloe) and Julia; his stepson Dereck Melbourne (Kim); his stepgrandchildren, Parker and Rhea; his stepdaughter Denise Melbourne-Trott (Dwayne); his stepgrandchildren, Kyle and Jaxon; his siblings, Harold Patey (Eleanor), Nathaniel Patey (Doretta), Greg Patey (Veronique), Joy Parrill and Salome Simmonds (Felix); and his siblings-in-law, Howard Young (Josie), Matthew Young (Joyce), Linda Wagg (Harry), Donna Tapp (Bob), Margaret Young Joanne Brumwell (Jim), Jocelyn Young and Beth MacNeil (Jim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
