She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Zelau (Edward Young); her son Craig Young; her granddaughter Alisha; her great grandchildren, Jace, Marcus and Aubrey; and her siblings, Noreen, Eva, Joe, Allan, Albert, Fred and Gerald.

She is survived by: her children, Walter Zelau (Cherie), Sean Zelau, Chris Zelau, Neil Zelau (Alana), Glenda Hutchings (Donnie), Wanda Zelau (Dave), Patricia Mazzone (Anthony), Margaret Brown (Rick) and Karen Twyne (Willis). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brother.
