We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2020, Gwendolyn Clementine Stagg (Stephenville, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Chesley Stagg; her parents, Archibald Billard and Elizabeth Billard of Grand Bruit; her grandson Andrew Stagg; her siblings, Marjorie Miles (Roy), Ada Billard (Andrew), Ed (Cedella), John (Audrey), Ross (Dorothy) and Don (Mona); her nephew Gordon Myles; and her grandson-in-law Darwyn Cooke.
She is survived by : her sons, Fred (Port) of Port, Barry (Shelley) of Toronto and Randy of Pouch Cove; her grandchild Parker Stagg (Kim); her children, Michael, Alan, Evan, Trevor Stagg, Wyatt, Jessie, Gina Heisz (Doug Dwyer), Julian, Nathan, Bastian, Marsha Stagg-Cooke, Tyler Marche (Julie), Kaitlin, Alison Crognale (Dave), Leah, Emme, Aaron Stagg (Irene), Ethan, Jacob, Paul Stagg (Natalie), Crystal Griffiths, Sean, Victoria, Andrea, Ashley and Holly; her sister Daphne Zengler; her niece Jean James (Jack); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gwen, Jackie and Kate Rowe (Bill Bindon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a small private service will be held at this time; but the family plans to hold a celebration of her very full and happy life as soon as possible after restrictions are lifted.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Gwen's memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
