She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benoit and Janet Benoit; her close friend Carol Hynes; and her sister-in-law Patricia Benoit. She is survived by: her children, Janet-Anne James (Chris) and Basil (Caroline); her stepdaughter Pamela of Ontario; her siblings, Theresa Phillips (Basil), Jean Anne Ruttan (Brian), Cecile Rae (Tom), Sonny, Paul Elmer (Donna), George (Juanita), Nicky (Wanda) and Peter-Paul (Yvonne); and her grandchildren, Amanda, Corey, Tyler, Jean-Anne, Jamie-Lynn, James, Sindy and Breanna. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
