He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgina Shears and Arthur Shears. He is survived by: his wife Marie Shears (House); his daughters, Marilyn Moulton, Alva White (Fred), Faith Gallant (Paul) and Paula Lush (John); and his grandchildren, Tracy Umlah, Toby Maxwell, Tina Gallant, Stephanie Wambolt, James Gallant, Jeremy White, Danielle White, Mark Gallant, Dominic Carroll and Jessica McArthur. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
