She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; her parents, Annie Stratton and Stephen Stratton; her parents-in-law, Florence and Willis Pinsent; and her siblings, Sadie Pinsent (Nathan), Jack Stratton (Sophie), Dawson Stratton (Jean), George Stratton (Josie), Elizabeth Janes (Frank), Josephine Stratton and Patricia Wiggins (Glenn).

She is survived by: her children, Karen Pinsent (David Houston) and Brent Pinsent (Lara Bagu); her grandchildren, Rebecca Pinsent (Joshua Cox), Felicity Pinsent (Chase Bennett) and Ariana Pinsent-White (Cody White); her great grandchild Bo Bennett; her sister Amelia Howell; and her granddaughter Edith Alexander.
