He is survived by: his wife Imelda; his children, Jeffery Hynes (Colleen) and Amanda McCollum (Cliff); his granddaughter Daniella; his stepgranddaughter Morgan; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Zander; his sisters, Patricia Doucette (Mackie), Philomena Hynes, Marie Mallinson (Scott), Darlene Marche (Nishie), Donna Dobbin, Annette Hynes (Wayne), Edna Hynes-Willis and Brenda Leskovich (Pete); and his siblings-in-law, Mike, Brendan (Debbie), Pat, Arthur, Marilyn, Theresa (Alain), Olivera (Niko), Anne (Wayne) and Jean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
