It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Ray Sparkes (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Judy Morris, Genevieve Parsons (Rex) and Yvonne Cooper (Lloyd). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary "RJ"; his children, Kim Messervey (Glen) and Roger Sparkes; his grandson Kyle Sparkes; his brother-in-law Dave Morris; and his nieces and nephews, Steve Morris (Kim), Scott Morris, Andrew Cooper (Melissa), Robert Parsons (Gale), Christine White (Dave), Leslie White (Darren), Janet Davidson (Eric) and Laura Windrim (Dave). He is also survived by 18 grand nieces and nephews; and a large circle of friends.
