With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Hynes (Stephenville, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Wiseman; his grandparents, Lillian Hynes and Charles Hynes; his siblings, Claude Wiseman (Joan) and Rita Hynes (Tina); and his grandson Hunter Jesso.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hynes; his sons, Shane Hynes and Randy Jesso; his grandchildren, Nate and Tristan; and his siblings, Daniel Wiseman (Angela), Kenneth Wiseman, Junior Wiseman (Pam), Noel Wiseman, Ross Wiseman (Marjorie), Mary Joy, Joy Connors (Andy) and Loretta Wiseman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish. A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donation's may be made in Mark's memory to Our Lady Of Fatima Parish or a charity of one's choice.
