It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cecelia Gaudet (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her son Michael; her granddaughter Coral; her parents, Joseph Kerfont and Anne Marie Kerfont; her brothers, Gilbert and Norman; her stepbrother Gordon; her sisters, Leonora Burroughs and Betty Carlson; and her brother-in-law Dave Fratus.

She is survived by: her children, Leonard, Rick (Dianne), Jack, Joanne Murphy (Walt), Debbie Smith (Ches), Susan Targett (Mike) and Lorraine Gaudet; her sisters, Lydia Wiseman and Francis Fratus; her stepsiblings, Ray Kerfont (Janet), James Kerfont (Lee), Ambrose Kerfont, Bertram Kerfont, Marie Brooks and Madonna Kerfont; and her niece Gina Boland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to St. Stephen's Parish.
