She was predeceased by: her husband John Desmond; her parents, John Young and Mary Young; and her siblings, Monica, Genevieve, Geraldine, Patsy, Howard, Edward and Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Tony (Viki), Diane, Roy (Sherry), Bradley (Veronica), Randy, Darlene (Greg), Viki and Cheryl; her sisters, Agnes, Marie, Edna, Regina and Audrey; and her close friends, Rhonda and Francis. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Russells Funeral Home (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5). A prayer was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
